Aspartame - Artificial Sweetner

Aspartame has been discussed earlier on our platform to be 200 times sweeter than sugar. Sadly, majority consume this because it can be found in most process edibles like chewing gums, diet drinks, soda drinks, ketchup, children medicines and vitamins. 

Some may consume this unhealthy sweetner unknowingly if the product is labelled as SUGAR FREE. 
It should send a message when sweetness can be tasted from this product after the initial information.

Aspartame is also known as E951 and its last chemical product during digestion is formaldehyde (a highly toxic, inflammable gas at room temperature). 
There are numerous researches that point to the health implications of aspartame. These are:

1. Increases the risk of cancer

2. Associated with weight gain

3. Has impact on mental health like increase anxiety and problems with concentration during learning.

4. Increases the risk of brain tumor.

5. Affects neurogical health especially for people who take soda drinks.

6. Increases the risk of autism

7. Increases the risk of obesity

8. Higher risk to metabolic disease like diabetes.

9. Affects pregnancy (causes preterm birth) and baby's birth weight- overweight baby

10. Reproductive health damage

The list goes on. With just the aforementioned health implications, the one who cares so much about their health will take the right action.

Why I make more emphasis on healthy eating for my client because it takes the largest percentage in achieving a healthy lifestyle.

Diet in healthy terms means:

You are eating the right and correct proportion of food(all the 6 classes of food).


As per plant based food, the correct one is that which is grown naturally, no chemicals, no preservatives, no genetic manipulation. This is the best and safest option and to achieve this is to have your small farm where you will be certain that it's just what you have planted; the crops nothing else or you have a trusted source you get yours from.



As for protein based like meat, chicken, fish, egg etc. All these should be locally pastured. Meat should be fed with grass, chicken should feed on ordinal grains not those that have been laced with different chemicals and hormones. These hormones are what made those poultry chicken lay eggs and not the natural method that is common among the locally raised ones.

 If per chance, you are seeing the nutritional value of egg on the internet, remember, it's the locally raised one's value- a representative for the rest.



The same thing with fish and other farm raised proteins that have been fed with hormones and antibiotics and any other products from them.

This is the basis of most sickness; affecting physical, emotional and mental wellbeing. 


Sadly, it may be difficult especially in some environment to raise a self-owned farm leaving majority with no option than what they are used to. This is why it is important to detox yourself from time to time in order to eliminate the heavy metals consumed through food.

 

Amidst all these issues as regards the source of what we eat, you can still try to aid you health by avoiding white flour and its products generally, avoid white sugar and other artificial sweetners and anything edibles containing this, avoid artificial seasonings, replace with natural spices and herbs. You can check my telegram for suggested natural spices for beginners as regards your culinary skills. Avoid soda drinks and diet drinks and always make sure to read your food labels. Know what you are putting in your stomach. Exercise regularly and drink enough water.


Unlike the vegan naturopath (vegans are people who eat only plants based product and they believed consuming permissible animals and their products is an act of wickedness.), this ideology doesn't in anyway makes sense and the vegan naturopath treat his/her patience based on this ideology. They are to be avoided.


Except with genuine health cases like cancer and ithe serious health issues, there is nothing wrong in eating permissible animals and their products.

And we've discussed the onle problem with them and we've give you the best option as well as alternative option. 


However for anyone with a serious health issue, the mentioned best option should be your choice if you truly want to heal faster.

On this online space, you come across a lot of information regarding natural medicine.

There is something important I want to highlight.

There are numerous Naturopaths online and offline and we also have natural enthusiasts as well.


Naturopaths learn illnesses and their treatments, different therapies that can help boost your health, healthy diet that is suitable for each individuals etc.


While natural enthusiasts are just those who love natural medicine and want to abide with healthy living.

 They make research and may put up correct health updates as well as incorrect ones because they really didn't learn. It's just random learning. Learn from Google, YouTube and some websites etc but are not certified.

A natural enthusiast along the line can opt in to learn and become certified but never in the first place the same as a Naturopath.


Back to Naturopaths, we can group them into 2. We have the moderate ones like me and the vegan ones.

The vegetarian Naturopath are very strict with diet and they apply the same rule on their patient. You are not allowed to eat any animals or their product.

Yes, no meat, no chicken, no egg, no fish, no milk anything from animal.

You will see them say cow milk is for baby cow as well as camel milk.


You are not allowed to take them. You will be placed on only plant-based diet. For a Muslim there are evidences from the Hadeeth of the prophet that talked about the medicinal value of cow milk and camel milk and these vegetarian Naturopaths are just trying to take your away from eating animal-protein based on the well known principle. "Saving the animals", "Letting them live."


 So, be careful of where you take your knowledge of natural medicine from.

There is nothing wrong in eating animal proteins provided they are permissible. However, in everything moderation is the key.

We should also know that most of the animal proteins in our present days are not naturally-bred. An important reason why you should limit the way you eat.

If you have serious health issues, avoid them totally, you might need a guide from a certified Naturopath like me.


 Normally, if what we eat are free from chemicals hormones, preservatives, additives etc. We are supposed to have full detox twice in a year. This is supported by ancient cupping therapists because there will always be some deposit of toxins in our blood and we need to eliminate through wet cupping therapy.


However, with the way our food are produced, present day therapist advise wetting therapy 4 times a year.


So, here comes the question?
